I had not known that taking fertility drugs has been thought
to be associated with an increased incidence of ovarian cancer, but apparently that
is the case. Now, however, a massive new
study performed in Denmark has (purportedly) demonstrated that the drugs are
not to blame; infertility itself, not the drugs, is implicated. Geez!
Not a happy conclusion! Cause-and-effect
are unknown and under investigation.
