Linda, Whiskers, Patches & Me
Two guys who made their names in immunological research won the 2018
Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physiology.
One is from Texas, the other from Kyoto, Japan. They worked independently, but almost
simultaneously they gave intellectual birth to our old friend, the checkpoint
inhibitor. Here is a PDF describing
their work. It is easy to follow and
well worth a bit of your time.
